Business System Documentation
The Quipoz Transformation Service is able to produce comprehensive Eclipse IDE-based documentation for computer systems, enabling organisations to meet compliance requirements and to allay their system maintenance problems. Alternatively, the Quipoz Business Systems Documentation can be used to extract business rules from an existing system, for use in design modifications and as input to evaluating software package options.
The Quipoz Business Systems Documentation (Q-BSD) takes a number of different forms that in total provide a comprehensive appreciation of the application's functionality. These are:
- Menu Structures and Schedules that reflect the high level requirements of the system;
- Relationships and Connections between the database tables/files and the processes;
- A detailed view of the presentation layer and the data layer and
- The detailed logic of the system expressed in English that reflects the program code.
The presentation of this information can be viewed in either a system context (listed in program name sequence) or a business context (business name sequence).
