The Quipoz Transformation Methodology

The Quipoz transformation methodology is unique within the industry. Quipoz is by far the most automated of any transformation methodology currently available. As such, it is more accurate, quicker and provided at far less cost than alternative methods.

The Quipoz Transformation Methodology is non-invasive, allowing legacy applications and systems to continue in normal operation while the transformation takes place. Maintenance fixes and enhancements that are required during the period of the transformation may be implemented on the production legacy system without affecting the transformation process.

Prior to cutting over to the new environment, a brief deployment freeze is imposed on additional changes to the legacy system. From the moment cut-over has taken place, however, and even before this date, development in the new environment (typically Java or .NET) can begin. This new development can take full advantage of the development tools and expanded capabilities of the new, post-transformation environment.

The Quipoz Transformation Methodology - Quipoz & Client Activity

Following a successful Proof of Concept demonstration and agreement on the project plan, training can commence on the new system, giving a real head start to post-transformation productivity. The actual cut-over is usually achieved in a single weekend, ensuring minimal impact on the day to day running of the organisation's IT environment. Quality and risk are carefully managed throughout the transformation project, with rigorous user acceptance and system testing integrated into the Development Phase.
